The CAT A refurbishment of this iconic building started with stripping the building back to shell and core. Saracen then set about the installation of an entirely new mechanical system including new VRV air conditioning, air handling plant and passenger lifts.
A new Dali addressable lighting system was installed to complement a range of other energy efficient systems. New bathroom facilities were installed across each of the four floors including the latest sensing sanatory ware and Dyson dryers.
In addition, Saracen extended the fabric of the building to increase the occupiable footprint to maximise the potential rent.
